Privacy, in plain words.
This site is run by one person, Jimmy, in Vienna, Missouri. It only asks for your details when you request a walkthrough, and those details are used for one thing: getting back to you.
What is collected
When you send the walkthrough form, it keeps what you type:
- your name, your shop's name and your email address
- your phone number and website, if you give them
- anything you write about what is eating your time
The site also notes the internet address the request came from, only to stop the form being flooded with spam.
How it is used
Your details are used to reply to you and set up the walkthrough, and nothing else. They are never sold, rented or shared for anyone else's marketing, and you will not be added to a mailing list.
Where it goes
- Your request is stored in this site's own database, on servers in the United States.
- It is emailed to Jimmy, and a confirmation is emailed to you, through an email delivery service that only sends the message.
- The site is served through Cloudflare, which protects the form from bots and counts visits without tracking you across other sites.
Cookies
This site does not set any cookies of its own for tracking or advertising. The bot check on the form may use what it needs to tell a person from a bot.
How long it is kept, and deleting it
Requests are kept so a conversation can pick back up later. If you want yours deleted, send the walkthrough form with the same email address and say so, and it will be removed.
The shops using the software
This page covers this website only. Each shop that uses the software has its own site and its own database, and its customers' information belongs to that shop.
