Custom exempt records, in one place instead of a filing cabinet.
Custom exempt work comes with a paper trail: who owns the animal, where they live, which animal it was, and a Not For Sale marking on everything that goes home. This keeps that trail together on each animal, so it is there when you need it.
Software cannot make a shop compliant. Your inspector and the regulations decide that. What this does is keep the records together, complete and easy to find.
What is kept for every animal
Recorded as the work happens, not reconstructed later.
- The owner of each share, with their name and address
- Tag number, kill number, species and where the animal came from
- The kill, chill, cut and pickup dates
- Live, hanging, chilled and take home weights
- A proof of ownership check for each owner
- Each owner's cut sheet and invoice, attached to the same record
Not For Sale, where it belongs
The label station knows the difference between a customer's animal and your retail case.
- Packages from a customer's own animal print with the Not For Sale marking
- Retail packages print with a price worked out from the weight
- Your name and address on every label, with an optional barcode
Easy to find years later
Finished animals are archived, not thrown away.
- Search by tag number, lot number, owner or species, across every animal ever entered
- A printable record page for any animal
- Retail lots carry the supplier, country of origin and inspection status for trace back
- Custom exempt, state inspected and USDA inspected work side by side, each marked for what it is
What shops ask about this.
Does this make us compliant?
No software can do that. Your inspector and the regulations decide whether you are compliant. This keeps the records those rules ask for together on each animal, so they are complete and easy to hand over.
Can I find an animal from a couple of years ago?
Yes. Search by tag number, lot number, owner or species and it looks through every animal ever entered, not just recent ones.
Does it print Not For Sale on custom packages?
Yes. Packages from a customer's own animal get the Not For Sale marking, and retail packages get a price instead.
We do custom exempt and inspected work. Can it handle both?
Yes. Every animal or lot is marked custom exempt, state inspected or USDA inspected, and they live side by side in the same system.

Fifteen minutes on a screen share. I walk through the parts you care about and you tell me where it does and does not match how you work. If it is not a fit I will say so.
